Response From Helen Grant MP Regarding The Death Of Mother Whilst In NHS Care

Below is the reply: From Helen Grant, MP for Maidstone and The Weald in relation to a letter sent by the daughter of a patient who was uneccessarily put on end-of-life drugs Midazolam and Morphine. 

Dear Ms Wagon

Thank you for taking the time to contact me. I am very sorry to hear that you lost your mother during the pandemic and want to express my sincere condolences. It must be an immensely painful loss and I do not underestimate your feelings of anger and distress about the circumstances her death.

I also appreciate your strength of feeling on this matter and understand that you were very keen for me to attend Mr Bridgen's parliamentary event on your behalf. However, I was not able to attend the event, primarily because I already had longstanding diary commitments on the day in question. I must also be clear however that I do not agree with the views that he has been expressing.

Claims that midazolam was being used with the intention of ending care home residents' lives are deeply misleading and it is irresponsible for Mr Bridgen to perpetuate this myth. The top priority throughout the pandemic was always to do everything possible to save lives.

Midazolam is a type of benzodiazepine medication, used as a conscious sedative, anaesthetic agent, anticonvulsant and is also licensed to help manage restlessness and agitation in palliative care. Midazolam is often prescribed as an 'anticipatory medication'. These are medications that are prescribed in advance for patients who are nearing the end of life should they experience any common and unpleasant symptoms such as anxiety, pain, nausea and vomiting. They do not necessarily have to be used, and should be given 'as required'.

During the pandemic, the Government did stockpile certain medications, including midazolam. This was because Covid-19 has brought about an increase in global and UK demand for a number of medicines, including midazolam, to support patients in intensive care or at the end of their lives. I believe it was right and sensible to stockpile these medications.

That said, I do recognise that a number of my constituents have raised concerns about Government measures taken during the pandemic and I have already written to my colleagues in Government to share their concerns, as their representative in Parliament.

I do also wholeheartedly support the decision to launch a full independent public inquiry on a statutory basis, to examine in a forensic and thorough way the Government's response to the pandemic. The inquiry was formally established under the Inquiries Act 2005 with full powers, which includes the power to compel the production of certain documents and to summon certain witnesses to give evidence on oath.

The Terms of Reference set the outline for the inquiry, and the inquiry chair, Baroness Hallett, has the discretion to explore issues in more depth as part of the inquiry's scope. Indeed, Baroness Hallett has set out a timetable for the next 12 months. The first preliminary hearing took place on 4 October for Module 1: examining the resilience and preparedness of the UK for the coronavirus pandemic. The procedural hearings for Module 2, which will focus on the decision-making in each of the devolved nations separately, began on 31 October. Module 3 will explore how people experienced healthcare and how made decisions were made within those healthcare systems during the pandemic.

Also, on 31 October, Baroness Hallett appointed two expert organisations, Ipsos and M&C Saatchi, to ensure the design and delivery of the listening exercise in the coming months meet the needs of the people who contribute and the needs of the inquiry.

The public first hearings started on the 13 June 2023 and are predicted to run until 2026. I very much hope that they shed more light on the decisions that were made during the pandemic, the impact of those decisions and what lessons have been learned as a result.

The " myth" that Andrew Bridgen is exposing unfortunately shows your absolute ignorance in this matter. I have it in writing from East Sussex Health Trust which includes the time and dosage of my Mother's murderous death cocktail. She was alert, walking, talking and going to the toilet upon admission. 

A scan was done revealing a small tear in her heart which was going to be operated on at Brighton Hospital. 4 hours later this was denied. Then, before family consent was given, Midazolam and Morphine were administered, rendering her in a coma like state whereby my siblings could not converse with her. 29 hours from admission she was dead!

Now, whether you agree with Mr Bridgen or not is irrelevant. Your views do not concern me. It is the public's view what you get paid to act upon - not yours. You work for us - not the other way round! You are voted in by us!

For 3 years I have amassed a huge amount of information about the effects and uses of Midazolam and Morphine so I have facts - NOT OPINIONS!  I have data - NOT CONSPIRACY THEORIES!

I have it in black and white from EAST SUSSEX HEALTH TRUST. NOT FRED FROM FACEBOOK! We only went to Andrew Briden when we knew after 3 years we had a iron clad case!

Now this movement involving the democide of our elderly in the NHS and care homes in 2020 has grown to inconceivable numbers. We could only fit 50 in the House Of Commons. BUT, understand this, there are 1000s more waiting in the wings.

Whilst the democide was occurring number 10 was having parties. SIX people were allowed at Mums funeral sitting apart! SIX GRIEF STRICKEN RELATIVES! So dont you dare tell me about your uninformed opinion about the democide of our loved ones!

You were given the option to attend our meeting. Full diary or not, there is nothing is more important than the democide of our loved ones!

Now we have had this meeting, you will not stop the avalanche of people now demanding the democide. Without the democide of our loved ones there would have been no lockdowns, no forced experimental jab that's caused carnage, even amongst my own family with severe health issues. There would be no vax passports, no digital ID,  no CBDC, and certainly NO EXCESS DEATHS AND SUICIDES!

My sister is a retired Hedge Fund Manager of 40 years standing. She has pursued this and uncovered an amazing amount of Government data and has worked tirelessly on this to bring together people from all over the UK. Now everyone who lost a loved one to " Convid" will be able to ask the question "was my loved one murdered as well?".

You are on the wrong side of history and the sooner you know and accept this the better. The Conquest Hospital where my Mum died was deserted. Only 3 beds out of 30 were in use. Everything was taped off. There was no emergency and you ALL know it! No excess deaths that year considering the democide of the Elderly!

Now the Midazolam Murder movement has converged with the vax harmed and bereaved. I seriously do not think you have a clue what is coming. Its insane how stupid you think we are. Remember it's WE the people who decide how long you sit in your office and if you do not represent me I promise I will do everything in my power to get your ill-conceived opinion out on social media, and you won't be a MP for much longer!

Do your research. Do you think Andrew Bridgen got up one morning and decided that today was the day he would blow up his career and leave himself open to complete idiots like yourself who obviously know nothing? Well let me tell you, no it didn't happen that way. He sifted through all our evidence and he was shattered, totally and utterly devastated because HE didn't know what had happened either. NOW HE DOES!

If you think for a nano second that my Mums passing was easy, think again. I have a 5 page graphic letter detailing her death, how purple she turned, how she tried to escape! My Mum was not stupid. She knew she was being killed and I couldn't protect her. There is no amount of money that can erase this from my mind and I have not had a full night's sleep in 3 years because of this. It haunts me. YOU need to represent me in my quest for justice whatever your opinion.

If you had bothered to turn up you would have seen the evidence, seen the testimonies of the broken relatives. But you didn't, and your pathetic excuse doesn't wash with me. 

Let me tell you what I told the EAST SUSSEX NHS Trust. I'm not going away. I am right here and followed by 1000s. We have a legal team and our meeting was videoed by House Of Commons so do yourself a favour and watch it! Then maybe you will understand the depth of our deep burning anger! We are fighting you for one reason. LOVE for our loved ones, and I can promise you there is not a greater power, more powerful reason in the world.

That is why we will never give up and never give in. You, in my mind, are now complicit in this democide, but until I can personally oust you from your seat you are my MP. So do your job, because the truth is coming quicker than you think, and ANYONE complicit will be personally liable. I can take civil action against you personally if you do not represent me in parliament at the next meeting.
My sisters daughter in law is a high court barrister, so beleive me when I say there is no stone my sister has not turned over!

Now you have to choose. What part of history do you want to be associated with? Because politicians lie, the truth does not! Facts do not lie! The day is coming when you will all be held to account for the complete incomprehensible abortion of the way the 99.99% survival rate of this so called "deadly virus" was handled. The way trillions of public money was spent on shambolic PPE track n trace and the locking down of totally healthy people causing school children now to be feral. I am a teacher, I see first hand the devastation Government caused, with the opposition screaming for more!

I hope you take note of my points, and remember, one brave MP took a stand on behalf of us the people. One brave MP cried as he read the evidence we provided. One brave MP stood alone as he was thrown out of the Conservative party because he believed us the people. One brave MP hosted a meeting in the House Of Commons where now WE THE PEOPLE cannot and will not be ignored. One brave MP stood alone, heckled and laughed at by people like you who have no clue to the mountains of evidence we have. 

If that one brave MP has a meteorite hit his head, or is struck by lightening, or an illegal immigrant with mental health issues so much as scratches him, we have so much he has given us that I promise you it will bring down the government and opposition. So it is in your interests that not one hair on that man's head is harmed and that he doesn't "DIE SUDDENLY" like so many 10s of 1000s have after the ASTRAZENCA clot shot.

I don't expect an apology from you for failing so dismally in every aspect of your duty. But I want you to know what I expect from you. Do yourself a favour, look at the video from that House Of Commons meeting that took place on 14th June at 6pm. At least do that to give yourself a fighting chance of acting like a human being and see the raw pain in our eyes 3 years later. Then think of the 1000s that are now behind this movement - ALL COMING FOR THE TRUTH!
