Here's how we get to "move mountains".

UK politics is complex – that's why everything takes so long to implement and why real change is long overdue.

The system of government is stagnant. Nothing of consequence gets done because there's always opposition to every policy. Instead of finding things that bring them together, party politics is about division, power, vested interests and ego.

The choice for the electorate has always been either one party or another. Whether Labour, Conservative, LibDems, Green or Reform, Independent candidates are usually crushed by the system. Even when elected, an Independent M.P has almost no say in what gets done.

Those in power like government to be complex - they understand that chaos brings with it confusion and that original thought is to be discouraged. Those at the top of the party do the thinking.

What's the surprisingly simple solution?

Dismantle the political party system by having 650 truly independent M. P's – accountable only to their respective constituents.

Independent politicians isn't something new, but it is something that, by definition, has never been formulated into a positive force.Always, it ends up as a Political Party.

That's about to change.

Greater Britain is NOT a Political Party. Instead, it is an Agency with which every prospective Independent Parliamentary candidate and existing Independent M.P can align.

Here's the simple bit – each candidate will guarantee that manifesto is mandated by the constituents, not the other way around.

There's no need for the candidate to adopt policy that they feel will be attractive to voters – instead it is simpler to have no policy and let the community write the manifesto.

Our country needs more quality Independent candidates in order to dismantle the dysfunctional Party system. We know they are out there, whatever role/job they presently fulfil.

It's a matter of character rather than competence. The bar has been set incredibly low given the salaries and benefits that politicians command.
