GOVERNMENT CV HIGHLIGHTS:

In 1979 the British public owned, ALL of its utilities, Gas, Water, Coal, Electric, British Telecom, 100% of our North Sea oil & BP.

These are now all owned (apart from coal destroyed by cheap imports) by private companies with costs for the consumer going through the roof and profits for the shareholders in the 10s of Billions.

Thames Water is 12B in debt yet managed to pay out 200M in dividends to its shareholders over the last 5 years and the CEO gets £850,000 per year.

Centrica (gas) had a pre-tax profit of £6.5B while not having to maintain any of the pipes for delivery as the UK taxpayer, pays for their upkeep.

Great bits of business as you can see……just not for us. Thanks, Margaret.

In 1999 the country owned 395 tons of gold (currently worth £26.6B) which was sold off at a 20-year low by Gordon Brown for £3.5B

'Sir' Tony Blair took us to war with Iraq and Afghanistan (invisible weapons of mass destruction) contributing to the deaths of over 300,000 innocent men, women, and children (official figures, many believe the number to be way higher). The will of the UK public was ignored as mass demonstrations were held against the wars.

In 1979 there were 1.4M jobless, now 9.2M.

The country was 88.6B in debt (43.6% of the UK GDP), now £2659.5B (£2.6 Trillion), (over 100% UK GDP). An average increase of 57B debt 'every year' for 45 years.

The pound was worth $2.45 it's now worth $1.26.

We've had 4 recessions 1 every decade.

On top of this add a failing NHS, bankrupt councils, poor roads, a failing education system, increased cost of living, farmers protesting, and the consistent miss spending of UK taxpayers money.

Not one government has been successful.

So what are the options? At www.greaterbritain.co.uk We believe that the two-party system has long had its day and it is time for a change.

We believe that WE have allowed this to happen and therefore WE need to fix it. The government works for us lest we forget. We believe that if all MPs were independent they could focus on working on behalf of their constituents, keep their integrity, and be held accountable much easier.

So VOTE, just don't vote for the two-party system. Convince others to do the same, stand for MP, find an MP you believe in, and support them. Be the change, believe we can be.

Are you up for the fight? Many are!
